Full thread studs are a commonly used threaded connection, and surface coverings can enhance the wear resistance of the threads. Compared to half thread and cap studs, full thread studs can better ensure the tightness of the connection.

The production requirements for fully threaded studs mainly include the following aspects:

1. Material selection

The selection of stud materials should be based on the working environment and conditions, with corrosion resistance, wear resistance, high strength, and weldability being the main requirements for material selection. The common stud materials on the market now include carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, etc. Stainless steel studs are suitable for use in humid, acidic, and alkaline environments, while alloy steel screws are suitable for use in high-temperature or high-pressure environments.

2. Thread production

The thread production of fully threaded studs is a key link, which is related to the quality and tightness of the connecting parts. Thread production includes two aspects: thread processing and thread surface treatment. The size requirement is accurate, the surface requirement is smooth and uniform, and the geometric parameters such as the angle, height, and distance of the threaded opening must meet the standards.

3. Surface treatment

The treatment of the surface end of the thread requires the end to be at a certain angle to the thread. The coating process generally includes various methods such as galvanizing, phosphating, spraying, sandblasting, etc. Among them, galvanizing is commonly used in fields such as rust prevention and corrosion prevention, while phosphating is commonly used in fields such as lubrication and noise reduction.



4. Precision requirements

During the production of fully threaded studs, it is necessary to control the size and accuracy, and the parameters such as diameter, length, distance, angle, and height of the thread must meet the standard requirements. In order to control accuracy, manufacturers usually choose professional equipment, such as CNC lathes. At the same time, strict management and control of production processes will also be implemented.

5. Strength testing

The fully threaded bolts produced need to undergo strength testing to ensure their performance. The testing methods generally include tensile test, hardness test, impact test, etc. In various experiments, the process of tensile testing is relatively common. The purpose of this experiment is to test the Z-axis tensile force and fracture point of the stud, in order to enable manufacturers and customers to understand when the fracture point is located. The test results must meet the standard requirements before they can be put into use.

In short, producing a high-quality fully threaded bolt requires strict control in terms of material selection, thread production, surface treatment, precision requirements, strength testing, and other aspects. Only when each link in the production process meets the requirements can the quality and service life of this type of connection be guaranteed.
